Now the whole Middle-East area from Turkey towards Jemen is covered with the main channels and RGBs that Meteosat Second Generation offers. Also the surface observations and the ASCAT wind field can be overlaid with the images. For the NWP parameters the ECMWF model is used. The satellite images are prepared and made available to EUMeTrain by the Turkish State Meteorological Service (TSMS).
