Update 1:15 AM Eastern: NASA Says “It's Possible” UARS Satellite
Has Crashed By Now, 1:15 AM EDT, Sept. 24, 2011.
NASA just announced that the Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite has fallen out of orbit, but the space agency still doesn't know exactly when or where.
12:05am – There are reports of “firework-like” flashes in the sky in Northern Quebec which may be a sign it came down in Canada earlier. Will update with official word later today.
